Information about Raynaud's
Raynaud's phenomenon is a condition affecting the blood vessels in the fingers, toes, ears, and nose. During an attack, symptoms such as coldness, changes in skin color, and numbness can last from less than a minute to several hours.
Raynaud's disease, the most common form of the disorder, is defined by episodic attacks that cause small blood vessels to constrict. No cure for the condition exists at this time, and scientists still do not know the exact cause. Treatment typically focuses on reducing the number and severity of attacks, as well as preventing tissue damage and loss.
