Influenzae

Influenza is a respiratory infection caused by a specific type of viruses. It is highly contagious and can be spread easily. You can get it if someone around you who has the disease coughs or sneezes, or by touching a contaminated surface. Compared to the common cold, influenza can cause fevers, headaches, and extreme exhaustion. Most people who get this infection get better within a week, although they may have a lingering cough and tire easily for a while longer.
