Important Information for Your Healthcare Provider

Before you receive this vaccine, tell your healthcare provider if you have:
  • Guillain-Barré syndrome
  • An immune-suppressing condition such as HIV or AIDS, diabetes, or cancer
  • Had any sort of a reaction to any vaccine in the past
  • A moderate or severe illness
  • A bleeding disorder
  • Any allergies, including to foods, dyes, or preservatives.

How Should Menveo Be Stored?

Menveo should be stored in the refrigerator. The vaccine should never be frozen. There is a liquid part of the vaccine and a powdered part, which your healthcare provider must mix together (both parts must be kept under refrigeration). Once mixed, the vaccine should be used immediately, although it may be kept at 77°F or cooler for up to eight hours.

Menveo is available in 0.5-mL single-dose vials. The vials do not contain latex.
