Neurosarcoidosis (Cont.)

Prognosis for Neurosarcoidosis

The prognosis for patients with neurosarcoidosis varies. Most individuals with neurosarcoidosis respond to treatment and, therefore, fare well. In some cases, neurosarcoidosis disappears after a few months; in other cases, it progresses slowly but steadily. For a small percentage of individuals, the complications associated with neurosarcoidosis may be fatal.
