Schleroderma

Were you looking for information about Scleroderma? Schleroderma is a common misspelling of scleroderma.

Scleroderma is a disease in which the skin becomes progressively hard and thickened. The condition involves the abnormal growth of connective tissue that supports the skin and internal organs. For some people, hard, tight skin is the extent of this abnormal process. For others, the problem goes deeper, affecting blood vessels and internal organs. Symptoms vary, based on both the type and subtype of scleroderma a person has. Because there is no cure, treatment is designed to relieve symptoms and minimize damage.
